love party.

This year we were lucky enough to be invited to the greatest Valentine's Day Couples party ever.  We had so much fun last year... we were so excited to go back and defend our champion title.  We lost on the first round... but we still had fun.  Well, I still had fun.  Jeremy is highly competitive and he was pretty upset that we lost so quickly.  If he wouldn't have said that his favorite meal that I cook is Tator Tot Casserole... then we would have had a fighting chance.  (I haven't cooked that in  years!)  Oh well... you can't win them all.

The party goes like this... there were eight couples invited and then the host couple.  They split us up into groups of four.  The wives answered questions while the husbands were downstairs.  The husbands came up and tried to get the same answers we gave.  Then we switched.

He said my favorite feature was his face... I said his smile.  We realized that I need to compliment him more because he had no idea.

I admit that usually being in the hotseat is far more fun than watching the other teams take their turn... but this year was different.  Everyone was so hilarious!

Once both teams have taken their turns the top two scoring couples move on to the lightning round.  You answer quick questions back and forth with your spouse.
This is the hostess.  She is so lovely.  I am going to miss her so much when she moves in a few months.  Why does everyone I love have to move away?!
After the lightning round, the top two couples move on to the finals.  This year she had an amazing thumb wrestling game to determine who would go first.  It was amazing!  The top two couples had to do a minute to win it game.  It involved shower caps, shaving cream and cheetos.  Whoever got the most cheetos onto their spouses shaving cream topped head won!
All of the couples that came.... I adore all of them so much.
We decided that since the hosts are moving... we are going to start this tradition next year.  I can't wait!

It was such a fun night! I'm glad you're taking over the tradition, I want to do the same thing where we're moving too although I have a feeling it won't be as awesome as The Loveless'. We'll miss you guys!
