Jeremy has been incredibly busy the past few weeks.  Between school, church callings, and the new practice we're in the process of buying there is always something going on.  We saw him one night last week.  It was brutal.  On Sunday he wasn't going to be able to come home until dinner time so we decided to surprise him.  We turned out house into a restaurant! 

The boys waited for him at the door while the girls hid in the kitchen.  When he came in the boys said, "Hey Daddy!  Do you want to go to dinner with us?  I hear there is a new restaurant in town.  Let's go try it!"  Of course he agreed.

They were greeted by the cutest little waitress you ever did see.  She said, "Welcome!  Please have a seat..."

Once they were seated the girls brought out menus and fresh baked bread for them.

We even put up a curtain so you couldn't see into the kitchen.  The kids loved it so much it's still there...

The waitresses took everyone's orders...

And presented them with today's special:  Spaghetti, chicken parmesan and roasted cauliflower.

The boys loved it.  The girls asked them nicely if they could join them as they were about to take their dinner break.  It was a great meal and a fun surprise for Daddy!

Too bad his schedule doesn't seem to be lightening up any time soon.  He'll be gone the next two weekends on fun trips.  We love him so much and are grateful for any time we get with him!
