My 2nd counselor in Young Women's had a baby the week before she was sustained into the presidency. We have survived without her for the first month or so... but are so happy that she's able to be with us more now that she is recovering! The girls thought it would be fun to go over to her house for an activity and do some service. We went over last night and had the best time! They did the dishes for her....
Dusted.... mopped... vacuumed... picked up toys... and a few more things. It was so fun to see them performing such small acts of service. I think they had a great time doing it too!
We included the activity day girls since they know this sister really well. (She used to be their leader). We were missing a few girls... but these are the ones that came that night.
Grace loves to come to activities with me whenever she can. I let her come along this time and she was SO happy because it meant that she got to hold the new little baby, Mae. She has asked me when we are going to have another baby about 16 times in the last 24 hours since she held her...
