elmo!

Jayne and I recently went on a date to see Elmo and all of his superhero friends!  It was so much fun spending some one on one time with my littlest lady.

 

We went with both of our best friends, Kristen and "Big Lincoln" (he used to be "Little Lincoln" but now that he's potty trained Jayne insisted we all call him Big Lincoln, cause he's big now.)  I got each of them their very own Elmo doll and made a superhero cape for him to wear.  Much cheaper than the overpriced Elmo's they sell a the show.  And much cuter, in my own humble opinion.

These two should get married someday.  They are so cute together.  They act like an old married couple.  It's darling.

Lincoln wasn't quite as thrilled to be there as Jayne.... but he still had fun!

Kristen spoiled them with their own light-up Elmo!  They were so happy.  My favorite was when Lincoln said, "I've been whining for these!"  (Maybe it was the happy meal later... I can't remember.)

The show was all about finding Super Grover's Super-ness.  It was rather cute.

My favorite was the Healthy food song... brought me back to my childhood.  You know the one.... "Healthy foods.... taste so goood... healthy foods...."

The finale with streamers was Jayne's favorite part!  She loved it!

One of these things is not like the other.......

Running through the hall back to the car was even fun with the light up spinning Elmo!

We topped the morning off with Happy Meals!  She got spoiled just a little bit...  That's okay every once in awhile!
