We've really been trying to up our game in the parenting department lately.  We've decided to serve the kids more instead of expecting so much of them.  We've realized that one of the most important things we need to teach them is to love and serve those around them.  We figure if we take the time to serve them, they will learn from our examples and love and serve each other more.  We've been doing it for about two weeks now and we've grown leaps and bounds as a family.  It's really been amazing.

The other day Lincoln was home from school with a fever.  While Jayne and I were getting ready for the day he decided to surprise us with a special treat downstairs.  We came down to find an array of movies with this darling note:

He even made us lunch... chicken nuggets for he and Jayne and a salad for me.

Jayne was so happy she gave him a giant bear hug.  She adores Lincoln. 

The night before Grace was my super helper girl instead of throwing her nightly tantrum.  It really is working!
