Lincoln has hard kids in his grade. They are super loud, super annoying, super crowding, and super disrespectful. He's had a hard year with them. He's been great.... they've made it hard for him. He somehow managed to make two amazing friends. Good, solid kids. I'm proud of him for knowing how to choose good friends. Here he is with Xavier and Grant. Xavier has a 1 on his shirt. He's his #1 friend at school. They like to make up fun games with two other friends, Tait and Sydney.
This is Grant. He's the #3 friend at school. (Tait is #2 and he didn't want to take a picture with a girl. That's so embarrassing when you're in third grade.)Ms. Boyles. She is amazing. Such a good fit for Lincoln. She lets them eat cinnamon bread on fun free days. She is very kind and caring. She watched out for Lincoln and was just such a pleasure to work with.
Silly picture! (his friend Sydney is in the orange shirt).
Class picture. On my.... looks like it was a fun year! (Tait is right behind Lincoln with the white headband.)
I asked Lincoln what he was most excited about entering 4th grade and he said, "Seeing my friends Tait, Grant, Sydney and Xavier. Hopefully I'll get Mrs. Beckles again... my 2nd grade teacher that moved up to 4th grade. And reading. I love to read."
