Nan's birthday, a campout and a parade.

Natalie had a birthday!  It was so fun to spoil her for a day!  The kids each picked out a little something for her.  I contacted tons of friends and family and asked them to write letters for her.  She was so happy she cried.  It was perfect.
She requested a bbq dinner so we could eat outside.  I just love watching her with my kids.  They are so lucky to be able to have her in their lives on a daily basis.  She truly is the best little sister anybody could ask for.
The kids somehow convinced us to have a campout that night in our backyard.  They were so fun helping set up the tent.
The boys even set up the campfire so we could roast marshmellows and have smores.
I made the ugliest birthday cake ever.  I am losing my touch!  It tasted good... that's all that matters.
She invited some friends from the singles ward over for cake and ice cream.  It was fun to watch her interact with her friends.  The campout went great.  It ended up being Grace, Graham, Jayne, Petey and I sleeping in the tent.  It was a little cold... but I loved it.  What a memory with my kiddos.
The next day was Memorial Day.  We woke up and did a few chores around the house and then we walked to the parade!  It was so fun to walk down the street with our neighbors.  I felt like I was part of this great community and had great pride in our city for the first time since we moved here.  I love where we live.
The parade was perfect.  It was just under an hour... the kids got candy... it couldn't have been better.
I found this amazing shirt for Lincoln at Target.  It's his new favorite.
Henry has started this new thing where he rests his head on my shoulder when he's tired.  I love, love, love it!  His new hat is pretty amazing as well.  I have my very own little Newsie.
I got choked up when all of the different military marched by.  I'm so grateful to them for defending our freedom.  We are so blessed to live in this country.
My kids loved the firemen!  They made sure to tell as many of them as they could that they have an uncle that is a fireman in Utah.
The bagpipes lulled Henry right to sleep.
These little cars were incredible.  They did all these tricks and were just amazing.
This car was the boys favorite.  It had two fronts!  I still can't wrap my head around it.
