This guy is so busy he never sits still when you are holding him. I have tried to rock him to sleep before I lay him down lately just so I can get some snuggle time in.
Our backyard turns into a swampy wasteland when it rains. There is a section where all of the water pools and it is just the muddiest pit of doom ever. We attempted to keep them out of there with a fabric rope. It worked for a little bit. I love that they worked together to lift it up so Lincoln could bring the wheelbarrow through it. We were doing a little yard clean-up after school to surprise daddy.During our clean-up Graham found several new worm friends. So gross.
Every pay day I try to do my massive shopping day. We're talking Costco, Aldi, Giant Eagle and sometimes even Target. These kids are such troopers. We often will eat lunch at Costco together. Peter really is happy in this picture... that's his tough guy face. (PS I think Costco hot dogs are the grossest things ever. Churros on the other hand....)
Somebody found his feet! I love this stage.
We try to feed the missionaries once a week. We have started rotating sisters one week, Elders the next. I love having them in our home! They teach us a message each time and it is always totally what I need to get me through my week.
I am kind of a pushover... these two wanted golf clubs like Daddy and I didn't hesitate. It is so cute to hear Petey say, "Do you wanna play my golf game?"
This girl... she is our sunshine.
I have been using my birthday gift from Emily every night. It has to be the most clever little gadget on the planet and it makes me smile everytime I see it. (I really need to get around to reading those two books on my nightstand. They have been there since Christmas!)
Gracie had her Daddy Daughter breakfast with Jeremy. She was asked to bring cinnamon rolls and a centerpiece. I thought it would be funny to write "My Dad is Cooler than your Dad" on the chalkboard part of the box. Jeremy finally agreed. It was a big hit.
I had to speak in the adult session of Stake Conference. It ended up being a wonderful experience. I spoke on how to do missionary work through social media. They asked me to have a slideshow of pictures of instagram and facebook posts I have done in the past. I think it went pretty well. I'm sure glad it's over!
Henry is getting way more fun to play with. Graham and Petey have been the two that don't really want to spend a lot of time with him... but that is changing.
So many of our friends are graduating and moving this month. It is one of the things I hate most about living here. People always leave! Some of our dear friends are moving to Provo and we had them over to discuss great places to live. It will be so fun to see them whenever we get home for a visit. We introduced him to the Daddy game "Target practice". They loved it! (Target practice consists of the adults throwing pillows at the children. Everyone has a jolly good time.)
Laundry. I hate it. But not as much as cleaning the bathrooms so I'll take it. I am always so proud of myself when I am able to keep up with it. I guess I felt the need to take a picture on this day.
