Our twelfth anniversary came and went. We had the best day. Jeremy surprised me and took the day off of work and had baby-sitting all arranged for the morning. He took me out to breakfast and I ate the most delicious waffle of my life. (Marie Scramblers does it right!)
He surprised me at breakfast with this amazing Kermit watch. I have mentioned that I wanted one just like Walter's in the new Muppet movies. He is such a good listener. Then we went to a little Pottery place and painted together. I was surprised at how into it he was. He was concentrating so much he wouldn't talk to me! It was adorable.
I made a plate for the kids to use on their birthdays. It will look totally different after they throw it in the kiln. You get the idea though. I love everything except for how wobbly my writing is! I hate writing with puffed pens.
Jeremy made a cup to go with the plate. It will say "Favorite child today".
We each wrote something on the bottom for the kids. I love that it has our anniversary day on there as well.
On the way home he surprised me with my favorite drink. A lemonberry cream slush from Sonic. I need one. Stat.
That night we met up with several couples at Buffalo Wild Wings for dinner and an NBA game. I loved being surrounded by our friends on our day. It always makes being away from family a little easier when you have your friends around you.
I don't know how I got so lucky to marry this man. He is my everything. We are closer now than we've ever been in our twelve years of marriage. He makes me want to be a better person. He inspires me. He comforts me like nobody else can. He is my rock. He is my favorite person in the whole world. I am so blessed to have him in my life. He is my forever.
