legos, flowers and grandpa.

I keep finding pictures like this on my phone.  Apparently Lincoln sends them to his best friend through his new e-mail account.  Such a funny kid...
I went to Costco the other day with all five kids.  Shoot me now.  Just thinking about it gives me anxiety.  The only thing happy about that experience was the moment I saw these flowers.  I knew that they would be mine.  Something about having fresh flowers in my home makes the world a better place. I don't even love roses that much but these pink ones speak to me.  They look all antique-y.  I love them.
Our sweet, sweet Grandpa Davis passed away this week.   He went painlessly, in his sleep.  We are so grateful for his example of leading a Christlike life.  One of the greatest things he taught me was so love my spouse and be grateful for the many things he does for me.  He loves his wife more than anything in the world.  A blind man could see that.  We are going to miss him so much.  I'm so grateful we were able to visit with him on each of our last visits to Utah.  I will forever cherish my memories with him.  He was the grandpa that every child dreams of having.  We love you, Grandpa!

I'm sorry for the loss of your grandpa. That's hard. The last of my grandparents passed away four years ago and that was difficult.

Those roses are beautiful! Sometimes it's just nice to have lovely flowers in your home.
