We went on our traditional conference walk between sessions on Saturday afternoon. We try to go to the same place each year. One of our favorite metroparks that's right near our house. It was a little chilly, but we had a lot of fun. Jayne showed us how the leaves were falling down, down, down.
The kids had fun running around after all of that sitting.I dared Lincoln to stick his head in that hole in the tree.... this is as close as he got.
SO happy to be outside!
Not so happy to be outside.
They found the meadow!
"Ma! Watch this!"
He walked up the stairs! I almost cried... my baby is growing up too quickly.
Showing me how her cape spins...
Pointing the way to the spooky trail.
Homemade teeter-totter.
He held my hand! He never lets me hold his hand!Going down a ridiculously skinny trail. I hold my breath every time.
Throwing acorns.
The kids favorite part... the toys!
These are my favorite pictures from the day. He could not figure out how to get over the beam! I tried to get him to go under it but he eventually just went around. I love his faces in these pictures!
This is my life with Peter. He loves to run away from me when we go places. This is him making sure I'm behind him...
Inching his way down the trail with little baby steps...
And he bolts!
Usually I send one of the other kids to get him.
So frustrated that his shoes are dirty.
Jeremy had the older kids doing obstacles on the wood. This time they had to go backwards with their eyes closed.
Lincoln let me know that he isn't afraid of the camera anymore. So glad cause he's so handsome.
