Each year the kids Elementary School has a Book Character celebration to celebrate Halloween. I think it's an adorable idea. They have to pick a book and dress up as a character in that book. Lincoln went with the same costume as last year, only we made a new shirt.
He's such a little ham...We went over to the school to watch the parade at the end of the day. This is Jayne's scary monster face.
Graham the vampire. He brought the book "Vunce Upon a Time". He took his role as a vampire very seriously and wouldn't pose for a picture.
I was tired of carrying Peter so I set him on the table to enjoy the parade. Jayne insisted on going up with him.
Lincoln next to some of the girls in his grade. I'm sorry you inherited my shorty pants genes, buddy. Hopefully you'll be like daddy and grow taller than them someday. He brought an I Spy Halloween book.
Peter was so sad. So so sad and tired of being at the school. When Gracie walked out of her classroom he turned off the tears and smiled so big! He loves his big sister so much. She brought the book "Room on the Broom."
This was my favorite costume that day. This boy had a Kanye West biography. I wish the picture wasn't blurry. Only in Cleveland.
These are random pictures taken on different days. What's fun about Halloween is that you can wear different costumes all week long! We went to a party and these two wanted to wear something new. Peter wasn't too happy about being a dragon, but he sure made a cute one!
Jayne wore the Minnie Mouse costume I made for her when she was two! Crazy that it still fits her!

Halloween week is really fun but it can be exhausting with lots of parties, activities, costumes and candy. But it is the highlight of the year for my kids! You can hardly consider Jayne's "scary face" scary. She's so cute!
Oh my gosh I love the I Spy shirt! That is so creative! What a fun idea; I wish my kids' school did that!
