The day finally came! Back to School! The kids were so excited... especially this guy. I told him to smile normal and this is what he gave me....
He started second grade! I can't even believe that. He's the smallest... and probably the youngest... but he's definitely one of the smartest and cutest! So proud of my Graham. Lincoln was nice and gave me a normal smile. He looks so old.
This is how he felt about starting school. He was the least excited of the bunch.
Fifth grade! Wahoo!
They wanted a "just boy" picture. I adore them.
After a minor meltdown when her shoes didn't fit right.... she was ready to go. I managed to get a smile out her anyway.
Third grade! She is looking more grown up every day.
I have no words. I love them so much. So glad they have each other in these crazy Cleveland schools.
We listened to some very appropriate tunes on the way to school. We're Going to Be Friends- Jack Johnson, Brand New Shoes- Ryan Shupe and the Rubberband, and On Top of the World- Imagine Dragons. I loved hearing them sing their guts out on the way.
The kids go to a new school with some of the best friends. It's a Charter School that goes through the 8th grade. I have been very pleased with it so far. There are some things that I'm not a fan of... but for the most part I am so glad we made the switch. I think my favorite part is the fact that we get to drive to a metropark on the way to/from. It is breathtaking and I'm truly reminded of my Heavenly Fathers hand in the beauty around us whenever we drive through it.
It isn't much to look at... but it's what's inside that counts! The teachers and staff are amazing and they only accept top notch kids that want to learn. It has been the perfect fit for our family. And if you ask the kids what their favorite part of their new school is... they will tell you Kaden, Gabby and Dallen. Their best friends. :)
