my girls.

One of my best friends and I decided that it was time for a mommy-daughter girls night.  We kept it simple and just took them to Olive Garden and then to get a few accessories at the mall.  It was so much fun!  I love these girls so so much.
These two are in the same class at school now and have become such good friends.  It is so comforting to know that they have each other at school each day.
The girls have had a hard time adjusting to the new house.  But only at bedtime.  It is normal for us to wake up and find at least one of them sleeping on the floor next to our beds.  We figured out that they are used to sleeping on their full size bottom bunk together so we will be putting their bunkbeds side by side this weekend to see if this fixes their nighttime wandering.  We have explained that once Henry is born, he will be in our room and extra little bodies in the same bedroom will make it even harder for all of us to get the sleep that we need.
This is one of my favorite things to see out my back door.  Two little friends reading books together on the swings.  It makes my heart melt.
Sunday mornings have gotten a little easier now that Jeremy is on the High Council instead of in the Bishopric.  He is still gone most Sunday mornings but is able to come home and ride to church with us.  It will change in January when our church time changes... but for now we are just soaking all the daddy time in.  The girls surprised me last Sunday with a trip to their spa (inspired by a Fancy Nancy book they had read).  I was working on my Sunday School lesson... but they were still able to do everything they needed to.  They made me a fancy "Mom" headband.  I think I broke their hearts when I told them that I couldn't wear it to church.
They each painted one of my feet all kinds of blootyful colors.  I think more paint got on my skin than my toes... but I didn't mind one bit.  It was so adorable.
They were going to paint my nails too, but I didn't have enough time to let them dry with everything that I still needed to do for church.  They just used the nail file to trim them a bit instead.
Then Gracie braided my hair for me.  It was so cute.  I think I'll visit their salon again right before the baby comes so I can look extra blootyful when I deliver.  I can already imagine looking down at my puffy, but painted toenails while in labor.  It will bring a smile to my face for sure!
This girl.  She busted out her dancing clothes one day and put on a show for me.
My favorite was when she showed me the new curtsy that she made up.  She is so adorable.
