preschool 2013.

This girl... how I love her.  We debated which pre-school to put her in for awhile.  She couldn't go to the one that she went to last year because we moved to another school district.  After checking several out... we decided to just keep her at home.  I am not worried about her socially in the least bit... and she is smart.  Way smart.  When I was going to college, it was to become a teacher.  I dreamt of having a pre-school in my home someday.  I remember my favorite memories from High School were in my Child Development class where we were able to teach pre-school to kids.  So why not teach my own children from now on?  I never got my degree (life regret) so I don't feel comfortable going all out and starting my own... but I am pretty excited about starting with Jayne.  We will add Peter to the mix after his third birthday in December.

We have started doing little things each day and she loves it.  I hope to have lesson plans and a real schedule eventually but for now we are keeping it low key.  Hopefully before Henry is born we will be in a groove that we can keep up.

She insisted on taking "First Day of Preschool" pictures just like the big kids did.  The difference is... she is a super poser and loves having her picture taken, so there are a lot of them.  These pictures are 100% posed by her.  I honestly don't know what I did to deserve such an adorable little sidekick.  She is something special.
After we took her pictures she insisted on watering our mums.  She loves to do this each day.  I caught her in action...
I am so grateful I get her all to myself for one more year before she starts kindergarten!  Best. decision. ever.

Jayne sure has a fun personality (and such a darling, little face!!!) and I love that she poses for pictures. My kids hide from the camera (boo).

Love the craft room! Sure wish I had one of those!
