easter sunday.

We had the best Easter weekend.  Going to the temple on Saturday really started our weekend off right.  We try to do the Easter bunny on Saturday... but didn't have time since we were gone most of the day.  He (she?) came early on Sunday morning instead.  (I think I may adopt the tradition of doing the "Easter Mommy" in future years.  I don't love the Easter bunny.)  The kids were so adorable helping each other find eggs around the house.  We really downsized this year and I was worried... but they were so grateful for everything in their baskets.
I wasn't going to make dresses this year... I was hoping to save time and buy them.  My girls had other ideas and insisted that I make them.  I went the easy route and made simple maxi dresses.  You buy a t-shirt and cut it off a few inches under the armpits.  Then you stitch knit to the bottom the dress.  Voila... a dress!  I had enough fabric to make them a matching infinity scarf.  They love them!
I made each of the boys a bowtie.  They were a big hit!
I am so grateful for these boys.  They are all growing up to be such amazing little men.

And my beautiful girls.  I am one lucky mommy.
I was brought to tears several times during the services on Sunday thinking about all that I have #becauseofHim.  I am so grateful that the church gives us examples of ways to strengthen our testimonies.  It was so refreshing to open my Facebook and Instagram pages and see the feeds swamped with heartfelt testimonies of the Savior.  I was grateful for the opportunity I had to add my own.

In other news... this little buddy is potty trained!  Wahoo!!!!
