The girls have been dying for a pink room for ages. Ever since they could talk, really. We finally did it, and now they have the room they have always dreamed of! I can't find a before picture. They were in a different bedroom before this one so there isn't really a recent before picture anyway. Anyway... here's their new pink room...
Gracie wanted me to paint a mural of a meadow with flowers, a castle, trees and butterflies. Seeing as I am not an artist... she got vinyl cherry blossom trees from Target instead. I'm kind of in love with them. We added some white blossoms with buttons in the middle. We made those together while the boys were on their father/sons campout.
New Hello Kitty curtains. Gracie said they are like Lalaloopsy curtains too because they have stitches on them.
Gracie's new hideout in the closet... there are glow in the dark stars on the ceiling. The girls slept in here their first night in the room.
A new place to display their art... no more tape on the walls! Yay!
Their new art. I painted some old frames white and them distressed them with sandpaper.
I was going to do one of those triangle banners that are all the rage right now but decided to do one that the girls could make all by themselves. I saw this idea on pinterest. I love how it turned out. The girls did a great job!
I think I might move in with them and let Jeremy have his own room! I love how it turned out.
