We had this great plan to turn the basement into an awesome room for the boys... but then we found out that it's against the law to have a bedroom in the basement in our city (lame.) So, we moved them into the attic instead. Lincoln was already up there. He wanted his own room for the longest time, and then when he had it, he hated to be alone. (so adorable!) They are having the best time in their new room. I still get the other half of the attic for my crafting. They do a pretty good job of staying out of my space.
They didn't want to paint. They said the color was fine. We went to Wal*Mart and looked for posters and they couldn't find anything that they liked. Then we went to the vinyl section and found these beauties!
I'm not holding my breath.... but I think that the lego obsession might be slowing down! They wanted superheroes! I think it might have something to do with the new Avengers movie. They had fun putting all of the superheroes up on their ceiling. They even mingled them in with the glow in the dark stars/planets/moons. Here is Spiderman perched on the moon...

Someday we will give them their dream room. They assure me that for now, this room is pretty awesome. I'm sure they will love reminiscing about their time in the attic when they are older. At least I hope so anyway...

Cute. My best friend growing up had her bedroom in the attic and I loved hanging out with her there.
