Our sweet Jaynie girl celebrates her birthday this week! She had a party with her four little friends last Saturday. She is in love with the Disney show Doc McStuffins right now so we had a Doc themed party. We had to get creative because there isn't a lot out there for this show yet. I think we did a pretty good job.
We delivered a Doc inspired headband with their invitations. They were instructed to wear the headband and bring their favorite stuffed animal for a check-up.
She wanted a number 4 cake with her favorite people on it. I was worried, but it came out great!Jayne loves to string beads and make necklaces. She could do it all day long. We made heart necklaces until all the little friends arrived.
I was going to send all of our other kids to have some fun with Daddy during the party but they all really wanted to stay. It worked out great because they each picked one of the little girls and were their helper during the party.
After everyone arrived we gave the animals their check-ups. I had made each of them a little stethoscope. We even sang the Doc McStuffins check-up song. So fun.
Then we fixed some toys! Lincoln had a bear that had a tummy ache. We found out that he had torn-tummy-itis. All of the girls helped stick him back up and he was all better.
Graham had a bunch of Lego guys that had gotten taken apart and couldn't find their matching body parts. The girls diagnosed them with mixed-up-parts-iosis. They each picked a figure to put back together.
Gracie's Lalaloopsy house had a door that kept falling off. We diagnosed it with door-broke-efitis.
All of the adorable Doctors...
Hugs for the birthday girl!
Jeremy entertained them will his silly antics... Jayne was so embarrassed.
Time for cake!
Jayne doesn't really know how to blow out her candles... she blows the air up instead of down. It's rather adorable.
It took her seven tries... but she finally got it.
We colored white cake mix pink and purple for Doc McStuffins.
The cutest little doctor you ever did see. Thank you, Grandma Wilde for the adorable labcoat!
Present time! She was thrilled to get her very own mini make-up kit! I was grateful it was just lipgloss.
Two of her friends gave her Minnie Mouse puzzle sets. They were so funny when she was opening them. They thought it was hilarious that they got her the same thing!
After presents we gave them their party favors!
We made them each a Big Book of Boo Boos... instead of blank pages we made it a coloring book.
We gave them some "lambie tails" aka mini marshmallows.
And a Doc is in/out hanger for their door. Jayne has already put hers to good use!
So sad the party is over!
It was such a fun, easy party. Happy Birthday, Jayne!
