New Years Eve.

We had a wonderful New Years Eve.  We played hard during the day at Chuck-E-Cheese, then Peter napped and we watched the amazing Wilde Family Slideshow that my sister-in-law makes for us every year.  I think it gets better every single year.  And I cry harder every single year.  It's a wonderful reminder of how amazing our Wilde Family is.  I am so grateful that I married into such a fantastic group of people.  It is also a reminder of how much we miss out on living so far away from family.  The pictures that always get me are the ones with my nieces and nephews with grandma/grandpa/aunts/uncles because my kids don't have that.  We have already watched the slideshow at least a dozen times and it never gets old.  Thank you, Jessica!

Our best friends host a New Years Eve party each year and we always look so forward to it.  We won't talk about how it was their last year hosting since they are moving in July.  :(  We had a blast with some of our dearest friends ringing in the new year.

Peter lost his tiger a few months ago and has been a little distraught to say the least.  He's literally like Calvin and Hobbes with the little guy.  After searching for about a week and turning our house upside down... we decided to order another one online since they are no longer in stores.  We found one and had him open it on his birthday at the party.  He was SO excited!

He hasn't let Tiger out of his site since that party.  I love that he is so attached.  Here's hoping we never lose him again!
I had fun walking around and getting pictures of all of the little groups at the party.  The boys played a few rounds of poker.  No gambling involved.
The little boys played several games of magic... they are a little obsessed.
The little girls and the mommies took turns playing Just Dance.  I love that game.  I might need a wii and just this game for my birthday.
The boys came and took over the tv after a little while.
There were noise makers and streamers set off at midnight... all of the kids lasted and were happy!  I was shocked!  Peter whacked me with this hand slapper multiple times.  I'm guessing they were love taps??
Jeremy and I kissed at midnight.  I love this man.  Then I ran outside barefoot in the snow with my favorite 12 year old.  That was super fun.
And my birthday boy got a midnight kiss too.  I still can't believe he's a big two year old now.
