sickies.

We got sick.  Throwing up sick.  It was so yucky.  We took turns throughout the week.  Everyone got really good at throwing up in the puke bowl.  That was a miracle.  Graham was first, then Jayne and I, then Lincoln, then Grace.  Peter and Jeremy were lucky and somehow made out like bandits and didn't catch anything.

It worked like clockwork.  The kids would go to bed, then one of them would throw up.  They'd sleep in our room on the little crib mattress on the floor and throw up on the hour all throughout the night.  The next day they would rest on the couch and then they'd feel better.  It was lovely.  Did I mention it lasted the entire week?  

These pictures were taken throughout the week.  This was one day after school.  I like to document what everyone is doing around the house.  This was around 4pm.  Lincoln was playing with Peter in his room, Grace and Graham were doing homework, and Jayne was sick on the couch.

 Jayne and I were sick together one day.  It was actually pretty fun.  We just snuggled up on the couch the entire day and shut out the rest of our responsibilities.  I think we'll do it again sometime when we are feeling healthy.

 Two sickies, one day.  Lincoln and Grace.  I really thought Grace was faking it and just wanted to come home and join in the 'fun'.  Then she threw up.  Whoops.

 This is how I knew they would all be going to school the next day... playtime!

So glad we are over that yuckiness.  Here's hoping it stays away forever.
