girls day.

I've said it dozens of times... we have amazing friends.  When we found out we were going to be heading to Utah for a few days, my friends stepped up and offered to take our kids in a heartbeat.  I had dozens of people offer and it made me feel so loved.  I didn't have to worry one bit about them at all because I knew that they were in good hands.  I didn't know how to say thank you... so I took them for a girls day before we left.  Jeremy thought it was brilliant to pamper them before we took the kids so they would be ultra prepared for the Wilde madness.  We went to a new Italian Street Food restaurant.  So delicious.  I can't believe it's been almost three weeks and I haven't been back.  It was so tasty.

 Then we went to the salon and got manicures and pedicures.  Heaven I tell you.  Heaven.

 I asked for turquoise nails with pink polka dots.  The little man that was painting my nails looked at me like I was crazy.  It took three people to figure out what I was saying.  I thought I was asking for something pretty simple.  Apparently not.  They looked very Easter-ish.  And my ring finger is looking rather puffy these days.

 We went for Menchie's and then did a little window shopping.  It was a heavenly afternoon.  I loved it.
