playdate.

Jayne has always been a very social girl.  She loves friends so much.  I've realized that I don't ever plan playdates for her like I did with the older kids when they were her age.  I just figure she has Peter... what else does she need?  Yeah... she needs friend time.  She doesn't have pre-school on Monday mornings so we have been trying to get out more on those days.  We met up with two of her friends at the Natural History Museum.  We love that place.
They had a new fun exhibit that taught us all about the Mayan's.
The weather was deceiving that day.  It looked warm but was actually pretty cold.  We should have dressed a little warmer for the outdoors.
The best part of the morning was watching Lucy the Otter and her "Husband" as Jayne called him.
All of the animals were outside roaming around their cages!  We got to see the fox for the first time ever!
Jayne was adorable and kept grabbing her friends hand when they were walking.  She's actually staying with this friend while we're in Utah.  I'm sure they are having the best time ever.
We took them down to the discovery center and Jayne went right to her favorite puzzle.
Peter was very interested in the telescope.
Best little friends!  So so cute.
It's so funny how when I take the little ones to do something fun during the day I feel guilty for not taking the big kids.  Even though they are at school and couldn't come with us... I often hesitate to do fun things with Jayne and Peter because I feel bad.  I know I need to change this mentality because I'm kind of robbing them of their childhood.  It's okay to do fun things with them.  It really is.

What cute little girls! I'll bet they loved the outing to the museum. My kids love things like that too!

Don't feel guilty at all! I think this is a great way to bond with your two youngest right now, especially since a lot of your time will be taken up with the new little Wilde in the future months. :)
