insta-pics.

Jayne and I paint our nails together at least once a week.  I love having fun nails.
I try to go to Menchies at least once a week.  :)  My favorite is peanut butter yogurt with reese's, peanut butter sauce, hot fudge and whipped cream.  I know how to make my yogurt super unhealthy.  It's so good.
We teach our girls about modesty at a very young age.  We don't allow them to wear tank tops ever.  Jayne showed me how to make her dress modest with a sweater.  I love her so.
Laundry.  I hate it.  With a passion.  More than a passion.  I decided that I need to get a better system because doing it once a week just isn't working out anymore.  I can't wait until I have a laundry room on the main level.
The kids had a day off of school.  When I asked them what they wanted to do they said, "have a computer/video game day!"  I wasn't feeling super well so I said, "Sure!"  They say it was the best ever.  That's all that matters.
Jayne loves to come home from pre-school and dictate what she would like for lunch.  Her favorite is toast and cereal.  Easy peasy... just how I like it.
I came around the corner the other day to tons of smoke and four fire trucks.  A house was on fire.  That is three houses in the last two years around our neighborhood.  Seems like kind of a lot to me.
Jeremy has had Wednesdays off for the last little while and it's been so nice.  A breathe of fresh air in the middle of the week.  He usually volunteers at the Dental School in the afternoon but we get him in the morning.  It's so nice to have his help with getting the kids ready for school!
This kid is my joy.  He is so much fun.  He loves the camera.  Well, he loves seeing himself in the camera.
I have started having real, serious cravings.  The kind you can't ignore.  I try to for several days and if I still want it, then I give in.  Chipotle, homemade mac and cheese, KFC and sushi have been the latest cravings.  I got the first three... I'm hoping to get some sushi this week.
We feed the missionaries every Wednesday.  It is my favorite.  We fed them French Bread Pizzas the other night.  We had the pizza ready except for the toppings.  They picked their own toppings and shared a message with us while they were cooking.  This is one of my favorite week night meals.  So easy and delicious!
Jayne decided that we needed to have a swimming party.  She got everyones towels and swimming suits out and was ready when the kids came home from school.  She lived in her swimming suit and cover-up for two days straight.  Too bad it was snowing outside and it never happened.
I got to play with this little cutie one morning while her mommy helped at big sisters school.  It was so much fun to have a little baby in the house!  Peter love, love, loved her to pieces.  It was adorable.
Ohio is great... except the freezing rain.  Not my best friend in the world.
Peter and Jayne have sweet moments... Grace captured this one for me.
I have fallen in love with Shannon Hale.  I've read all of her books now except this series.  I'm on book 2.  Such a great writer.
Jayne got this purple velvet dress from a friend.  It is the dress she would wear all day every day.  She loves how it spins and shows me every time she wears it.  Velvet is not my favorite.  At all.  But she manages to make it look amazing.
We played charades as a family one night.  It was rather comical.  The kids didn't quite get it and would make us guess things like, "I'm thinking about going to the store, now I'm going to the store and ordering pizza, now I'm eating the pizza, then I sang a song about it."  Hard to guess when they can't say anything. (Jeremy was a catcus)
We had a day of sunshine.  It was still in the mid 30s but the kids didn't mind one bit and begged to go outside.  I gave in and came out to them having a pretend campout.  They are so funny.
This is how I spend most afternoons.  Jayne is my cuddle bug and Peter tolerates it every once in awhile.  I'm so glad that I am feeling a little better.

We don't do tank tops either. We go modesty all the way too.

Instead of laundry day, I do 1-2 loads of laundry a day. If I have a schedule that goes like this: Towels and sheets-Monday, Rachael's-Tuesday, Whites-Wednesday....etc. It's worked really well for me.

Those pizzas look DIVINE. That'll be on the dinner menu for the week.

I just finished reading Princess Academy. That's the only book I've read of Shannon Hale's so far. What would you recommend reading next?
