thankful.

Jeremy and I are headed to Utah this morning. I wish we were going for happy times but we aren't. Jeremy's brother-in-law, Ryan, passed away from his battle with leukemia last week. (He's the one on the left... without glasses.)

We are so grateful to have known Ryan. He was such a good man. He loved his family more than anything in the world and I loved watching him with his sweet wife, Emily. They have a greatest love story.

I'm so grateful for our friends for stepping up and taking our kids without hesitation so Jeremy and I can go and enjoy the time with his family without worrying about them. I can't even describe how thankful I am.

I really hope I can make it through these next few days.

MOMster said...: I was so saddened to hear about Ryan. We grew up in the same ward and he was often at our house hanging out with my older brother. I'm so sorry for your loss. I know he wouldn't have left his family had it been his choice. Emily's a strong woman and she'll get through this, as will you all. Jeremy and Rochelle.

We are living our dream here in Ohio! We've been married 12+ years and are more in love than ever! Jeremy spends his days fighting one root canal at a time at his Endo practice. He loves his staff and looks forward to going to work each day. When he's not at work, he's on a date with his sweetie, playing with the kids, or magnifying his calling serving on the High Council. Rochelle is enjoying being a stay at home mom. She spends her free time planning girls nights with her besties, sewing up a storm, going out on the town with her love, or preparing the next activity for her cub scouts. We could not be happier!
