Gracie made her first real life project for science class. This is an ecosystem for the grassland. She thought of it all on her own and designed the whole thing herself. I just hot glued it to the box. So proud of her.
Peter has yet to hold Henry without crying. On this day he was already sitting in the chair so I plopped Henry down in his lap. He immediately started saying, "No like it! No like it!" It's getting better....I am slowly getting the hang of this 6 kids business. There are moments when I wonder what in the world we have gotten ourselves into. Like when the baby is crying, the toddler is ready to get out, and the pre-schooler had an accident. All at the same time. Life is grand.
I seriously don't know what I would do if my little sister hadn't moved in with us when she did. She has been a blessing straight from heaven. It helps that she seems to adore my children. Let's hope that lasts!
Henry is starting to enjoy a little alone time. He mostly likes to be held all the day long... but there are several moments during the day where he just wants to chill on the floor or in his bouncer or swing. We love snuggling him... but also enjoy his chill time.
He has taken a few baths in our bathroom sink. He much prefers the bathtub with the big kids.
Our mornings are pretty quiet after the kids leave for school with Daddy. One day Henry was laying on the floor and Peter layed down next to him and shared his beloved cow-cow and tiger. I had to capture the moment.
Poor Henry has reflux. He's on meds twice a day for it. Luckily he doesn't have the spit up kind. And he seems to be getting better. We've been weaning him from the meds and he seems to be doing much better. Way less crying.
I am getting so excited for the next Muppets movie! Such a fantastic cast this time. It comes out the week of my birthday!
We've moved up to hugs people! And lots of sharing of the toys...
We put up our thankful tree. I got in trouble for stapling it right to the wall. We're going to paint eventually.... it's better than nails, right?!
This book... amazing! I love reading biographies of people that I love. This one is amazing. My favorite part so far was reading about how Kermit was created from Jims mothers coat. He actually stitched him while sitting next to his dying father. I love knowing random facts like that about my Muppets.
I am regretting not putting this little lady in pre-school. I don't know who I was kidding thinking I could do pre-school with her with a newborn and toddler. And now it's too late for her to go. We have started being more diligent with playdates.
