catch-up, part 3.

One Sunday morning Jeremy was away at High Council meetings, followed by speaking in another ward so it was just the kids and I.  I wanted to stay in bed... so they all came to me.  We had a read a thon for a little bit and then we just snuggled our little Henry.
Peter is usually one of the first ones up for the day.  He is very polite and just lays in the hallway outside our door and doesn't bother anyone until they are up.  I'm usually the last one to get out of bed.  Jeremy was awake and in the shower and he must have let Peter in.  I woke up to him jumping out of our closet saying, "Good morning to you, Mommy!"  Cutest wake up call ever.
The Sunday Peter was blessed I bore my testimony in church.  I didn't know... but when I started speaking Peter told Jayne to watch and then put his arm around her.  I guess they sat like this the whole time I spoke.  They have become such good friends lately.  They love playing Princess and the Superhero together.  If we could only get Peter to wear the boy super hero cape instead of the girly one...
I start them young....
This picture was not posed... he climbed up on the bed, sat like this and said, "Mom!  Take a picture me!"  I love him.  He's ready to be potty trained but I am so not ready.  I think we'll wait until the holidays are over.  Mickey Mouse Undies for his third birthday sound perfect.
I am trying to lose this baby weight.  Exercising is ridiculously hard to fit in with a newborn.  I am trying to eat salad for lunch but I'm not the biggest fan of salad.  I add tortellini to it to make it a little more enjoyable.  Somehow I don't think it's the best diet plan... but I lost 30 pounds by my 6 week check-up so that has to be a good thing, right?!  Only 30 more to go....
We pulled out the dress-up box.  This little number is a favorite...
One of my favorite things about babies is when you are holding him and they go limp all over and you know that they have finally given in and are asleep.  And cute sock monkey jammies.  Those are a favorite too.
The kids had school pictures.  I let them dress how ever they wanted to.  Graham is the best.  He is showing me his picture smile!
The girls have an uncanny ability to destroy their bedroom.  It drives me crazy.  This picture doesn't do it justice.  It was bad...
I love moments like this...even when they involve screen time.
Somebody hated getting shots...
Somebody grabbed the curling iron and burned his thumb... poor boys.
I wish I could be one of those moms that can just throw their to-do lists out the window and snuggle their babies all day long.  I have anxiety like crazy when there is a lot to do and the baby only wants to snuggle.  I am slowly teaching myself to enjoy these moments.  They are wonderful and I know they won't be here forever.
This guy weighed 10 pounds at his 6 week check-up.  He's growing perfectly!
I found these kissing pictures on my phone.  These kids...  I'm pretty sure whoever was behind the camera coaxed them into it...  (ahem... Gracie!)
I love it when I find a meal that the whole family enjoys.  These egg rolls were amazing!  Here is a link to my friends recipe {click here}  Check out her link on the right that says "kitchen creations".  She has so many yummy recipes.
