life.

The past two weeks have been hard.  The nausea hit and it's been hard to do much of anything.  I took this picture thinking I was 8 weeks along...
Then I had my first appointment and found out that I was only 5 weeks along.  What?!  We got back on the 21st to get another look at our little guy/girl.
I spent several afternoons watching the first season of Downton Abbey.  I am hooked!  I need the second season, stat!
Smoothies are my best friend right now.  That and chocolate milk.
Jayne and I caught a nasty flu bug this week.  We spend about four days on the couch together.  The first day sleep and chocolate saved us.
She is the cutest little girl when she is sick.  She looked like this on the first day.  All smiles in between the throwing up.
Peter caught the bug in a different form.  He had some pretty yummy diapers for a few days.
Wednesday was pretty much the worst day I've had in a long time.  I felt so horrible.  It was then that I realized that I had to have the flu on top of the regular yuckiness.  Luckily Jeremy was home for the day and was able to take care of me (and everyone else).
He even went grocery shopping for me.  Something he loathes.  I hadn't gone for about a week and we were getting desperate for the staples.  He came home with gingerale, saltines and flowers for me.  I love him so.
Poor Jayne just got worse and worse as the days went on.  She spent her time sleeping and watching PBS or Barbie movies.
At one point after she had thrown up she curled up and just started to cry.  I asked her what was wrong and she said, "Mum-Mum... I don't want to fro up anymore."  Broke my heart.  Poor thing.
She looked like this for the rest of the day.  She perked up the next day and was almost her usual self.  The end is near...
Jeremy gave me a blessing the night I felt like death and I woke up the next morning feeling amazing!  Not normal amazing but normal pregnant amazing!  Hopefully the worst of it is over and life will get better now.
