Finally ready to play catch-up. I decided to back date them so get ready for Wilde family overload....
Easter this year was pretty low-key for us. We decided to have some friends over for some festivities the Friday before since everyone was on Spring Break.. We dyed tons of eggs.
I ended up sending the two other couples on dates since their hubbies were home for the day. It was a blast baby-sitting 12 kids.... and Jeremy and I got to go on a date later that night which was really nice. We went to dinner and to see The Hobbit. I was the baby-sitter of the year because I gave the kids peeps on a stick!Easter morning the kids woke us up at around 7:30. Much better than Christmas Eve when we were woken up in the wee hours of the morning. They lined up on the stairs all by themselves for the traditional picture.
The Easter Bunny hid their baskets in a scavenger hunt just like last year. The kids had so much fun finding their baskets (or bowls....)
The girls were thrilled that they got mini Lala-oopsies. Gracie even said, "I know the Easter Bunny is real because mom would never buy these because she thinks they're ugly!" True that.
Peter was happy with the cheetos. He didn't really care about anything else.
Graham thought it was hilarious that the Easter Bunny made everything look like carrots!
I was going to save time and energy by buying the girls Easter dresses this year but they told me that they prefer when I make them. I went on the easy side and made each of them a little maxi dress. They turned out pretty cute.
Pictures on the porch... always fun when Daddy isn't there to help. (Blast those early Sunday morning meetings.)
We got maybe one good shot. That's all I can ask for.... it was a good Easter.
