family time.

We were so fortunate to have so much family in town this past weekend.  We had Jeremy's parents and sister and her family, and my parents and sister and her family.  My family stayed with us and Jeremy's family was in a hotel.  It would have been amazing to have everyone stay with us... but our house is just a little bit too small.  Maybe next time...

The weather was crazy while they were here.  Nice the first day, freezing cold the second, and gorgeous the last two days.  Unfortunately it was freezing on the day we planned to take them to metroparks all day.  Snowing freezing.  It was kind of ridiculous.  We made the best of it and spent the morning crowded into the house.  I loved looking around and seeing scenes like this all over the place...
We did manage to bundle up and head to a metropark after a little while.  It was so nice to be outside enjoying nature with some of my favorite people.
Graham was not so happy to be out in the cold...
Enjoying some granola bars in the car...
We went bowling after the metropark.  That was loads of fun.  I love watching my kids bowl.  They all have such unique style.
I wish I had taken more pictures.  I was too busy playing hostess to the crowd.  We had lots of fun sitting around chatting and catching up, eating yummy meals together and just enjoying each others company.  On Sunday all of the adults joined us in singing a musical number in Sacrament meeting.  That was lots of fun.  I miss everyone already and can't wait until we can all be together again!  What are you doing September 2014?  Graham is turning 8... we can do all of this again!  :)
