We had a fun date night the other night. Jeremy took his staff to the Billy Joel concert and I got to tag along. We went to dinner at Piada the night before. It was so yummy... I love that place.
Billy was the first person to play at the Q. So this concert was kind of historic. It had been twenty years since he had first played there. Gavin DeGraw opened for him which was fun. I'm used to really lame openers so it was fun to hear someone that we actually listen to.
I admit I wasn't super excited about the concert... until he started playing. The first song he played they had the spotlight on just him and his piano. It was really neat.
We didn't know the first half of his set list... but then he got into some of his more popular hits. My favorites were And So It Goes, Piano Man, She's Always a Woman, and Uptown Girl. The man is super talented!
I have found a Billy Joel xm radio station since he came and I often listen to it in the car now. He has quite a few songs that I love!
