We had the chance to go to the temple on Saturday. It was so nice to be there. I admit I was dragging my feet the day before... and even on the way there. We had so much to do at home and no time to do it all. But... I knew that if we went, Heavenly Father would provide a way to get it all done. I have never regretted going to the temple. So off we went.
The weather was gorgeous! I had stocked up on some fun outside things to do while we were waiting for Daddy during his session. The bubbles were fun for a little while.
They had the most fun flying the kite in the parking lot! Turns out Graham is really good at flying kites.Lincoln is really good at climbing trees...
And the girls are really good at drawing with sidewalk chalk. (Don't worry... I only let them draw on the outerbanks of the church parking lot... not the temple grounds.)
My favorite is taking pictures of the kids on the temple grounds. The sun was incredibly bright. So bright they all came home with sunkissed cheeks!
Jayne is my little poser. She insisted on this mini photo shoot.
And then the magic happened....
Reminds me of my little brother, Kyle, teasing Natalie growing up.
They weren't really in the mood for pictures... as these photos illustrate...
This guy and his little tongue!
We stopped and ate at Cracker Barrel on the way home. A family favorite. Oh my goodness you should have seen the stares. People were counting us out loud and pointing at us. They even had two waitresses waiting on us. I'm so grateful the kids were all on their best behavior! Graham and Jayne loved having their very own mini jars of syrup!
