After a fantastic first week and a half of working at his new practice, Jeremy came back to spend a few more days with us before we headed home. We picked him up from the airport and went straight to Hogle Zoo! I love going there. I remember visiting as a child and getting those awesome wax animals near the hippos. So fun. Peter was so happy to be out of his stroller. He tromped around like he owned the place.

There are so many things I love about this picture...
They gave the elephants a bath! It was actually very adorable. They bathe them every single day. Right after they wash them off the elephants always roll around in the dirt so that they don't get sunburned or stung by bees or bitten by mosquitos.
We splurged and got carousel rides. Peter and I waited and took pictures of everyone else.
