thanksgiving point, swimming and chillin.

I like to go places with the kids at least once a day.  It keeps all of us sane.  We had spent far too much time just hanging out, which is fun... but I needed to get out.  We decided to use our Natural History Museum pass to get into Thanksgiving Point.  It was free!  We went to see the animals since the dinosaur museum was way too crowded.  The baby goats were so stinkin cute.  Almost as cute as our children.
After losing Peter at the fireworks (so scary), I decided that I needed to invest in one of those awful kid leashes.  We tried it out for the first time at the farmpark.  It worked for a little bit and then he decided that he hates it with a passion and screamed like a banshee until I took it off.
The kids were thrilled that they got to ride little mini horses.

Jayne is in love with her aunts and uncles.  I think they are in love with her too.
Even Peter got to ride the horses!  He giggled the whole time.
 Can't get over her smile....
At one point I had to laugh because the girls were in the dance hall....
And the boys were in jail!
 Best friends forever....
 We enjoyed the hayride.
 Holding hands everywhere they went....
 Favorite picture of the day...
Graham thought for sure that goat wanted to eat his shirt...
Lily loves her grandpa.  One night she asked him to watch Nemo with her instead of watching golf and he said yes!  Jayne snuggled up right there with them.  Too cute.  (Grandpa Wilde is the man we can thank for Jayne's beautiful red hair!)
Grandma's yard was way fun for all the kids.  They spent so much fun swinging, playing basketball and digging in the sandbox!
Jessica brought Lily's kiddie pool over one hot afternoon.  Lincoln cooled off by sticking his entire head in the water.
She made this awesome sensory water bag for the kids to play on...
Graham, being the awesome buddy that he is, thought it was way fun to poke holes in the plastic to let more water out.  While fun for him.... it made all of adults a little frustrated.  I was on my last day being a single parent so I just let it slide while giving him lots of empty threats.  Very bad parenting... but I was done.
Peter didn't really love anyone but me (and Cameron).  I was so happy to walk into the kitchen and see Uncle Jacob holding him one afternoon!  I think he missed his daddy a little bit.  (Jeremy drove out with us, stayed a week... and then flew back to start work, was in Ohio for about 10 days... and then he flew back to Utah, stayed a few days and drove home with us.  Very confusing.)
