girls camp, part 1.

I had the best week at Girls Camp.  I was able to have spend so much time with my girls.  I truly had the time of my life.  They were so much fun.  We camped at the Mohican Trail Center.  It was about 2 1/2 hours from Kirtland.  It was HOT, HOT, HOT!  Luckily the ward we were sharing with was nice and gave the girls spray bottles to help them beat the heat.

My camp director was a dream.  She was so sweet and sent me off to play with the girls while she did all the dirty work.  She was amazing.  She and her daughter are so great.

The theme of camp was MTC.  Each ward chose a different country.  We were Thailand and it was so fun learning about the country all week long.  The Stake leaders were England.  Dominica thought this poster was awesome.  I did too.

More spray bottle fun...

One of my counselors that couldn't make it up to camp put together the best craft bucket for the girls.  we had fun making button bracelets, friendship bracelets, playing mad libs and much more.

Kiyren was a pro at the friendship bracelets... she was lookin pretty stylin all week too!

We made fire!!!!

I loved watching the girls help out with the meals.  They are all going to be such great moms someday!

Kaitlyn wins the award for being the most helpful all week. She was always asking us, "what can I do to help?"  Such a sweet girl.

We had dutch oven cobbler one night.  So tasty.

We had fun sitting around and chatting during downtime.  We learned some fun new games.

We got to be first in line to tube down the river because our girls were so punctual at getting to flag ceremony each morning.  I was so proud of them...

On our first full night there we had the mission presidents come and give a fireside.  It was truly inspiring.  The spirit was so strong!

There were lots of team building exercises throughout the week.
