our 4th, part 1.

Nothing says the fourth of July like German pancakes!  Our family has found a new love in these.  Even our littlest will eat them!  That says a lot.  We like them best with coconut syrup.
We decided to spend the morning of the 4th with just our little family.  We loaded up the kids and headed to a new metropark we've been wanting to explore.
Petey insisted on taking both of his 'cows'.  He has yet to figure out that they are actually called tigers.
We made it to the metropark.  It's an old golf course.  We weren't too impressed.... it just felt like a run down golf course with really tall grass.  We still have fun exploring though.
Peter was so cute carrying his lunch all by himself.
All of my darling children lined up in a row.
The boys were excited about the teepee they found.
Lincoln showed us how he could throw them like a spear and make them land right in the grass.
Jayne looked adorable all day long... or blootyful as she would say.
Peter was in heaven with all of the sticks.
The trees were pretty amazing.
Getting ready for the five little monkeys sitting in the tree picture...

All of our little monkeys... love them so.

We headed home just in time.  It started to rain a little bit... on to the next activity!
