yummy recipes.

My sister sells Origami Owl.  They are these adorable lockets that you put charms inside of.  While she was here I hosted a party for her.  She got a few orders and I scored my own necklace for about half of what it normally would cost for hosting the party!  I'm so excited for it to get here!

I made a few things to snack on with my friends when they came.  I figured I would share the recipe since they were so delicious.

Spinach Dip
recipe courtesy of Diane Wilde (I think...)

1 pkg frozen spinach (thawed and drained)
1 envelope onion soup mix
1 1/2 cups sour cream
1 cup mayo
1 can water chestnuts (finely chopped)

Mix all ingredients together at least an hour before you want to serve it.  Best when served with chunks of french bread.

Easy Fruit Tarts
I made this recipe up... but was inspired by pinterest.

1 package already made sugar cookie dough
nutella
fresh fruit

Press one cube of premade cookie dough into a well greased mini muffin tin.  Press it down to make a cup shape.  (It will bubble up when cooking, but will sink back down while cooling).  Bake about 10-15 minutes.  Let the cookies cool completely then add a dollop of nutella into each cup.  Then add your favorite fresh fruit.  I used strawberries, raspberries, kiwi and black berries.  SO yummy!
