Lincoln planned his entire birthday party this year. Even down to the invitations. He was so excited to turn 9! He invited four friends... here's what they did. The invitations were inside of a TOP SECRET bag...
Inside was a picture of Lincoln with the information about the party inside his hands (this one was torn before I could get a good picture...)
The boys arrived and ate tons of pizza and soda...
Then they picked some candy to sneak into the movie... once they were loaded up they went to see the new Ice Age movie. It was a little crazy because we had the wrong time for the movie but they were able to make it to another theater just in time.I stayed home with the two youngest. Peter went to bed and Jayne and I watched Mirror Mirror together. She asked if we could take pictures together. She talked my ear off the entire movie! It was so fun to have time with just her. Made me excited for school to start!
Then she wanted to take a picture of just me....
And for me to take a picture of just her. I love the hand on the hip!
When they got home, the big boys stayed up playing Magic the Gathering until 1am!
Lincoln hates cake and most other sweets. He decided that he wanted donuts for breakfast instead of cake. Fine by me!
Peter was also very excited about them!
Several of the boys ate more than three of them... and kept saying, "This is awesome! My mom never lets me have donuts for breakfast!"
Happy Birthday to you!
Make a wish!
Such a great group of boys. So glad Lincoln gets to grow up with them!
So happy to be eating his donut!
Present time! He was spoiled with legos, clothes, a 'man purse' (his request), and a few other things.
The big surprise from mom and dad was a pet parakeet! He got to go to the store and pick it out after the party.
After presents they all headed up to the attic to play with the new stuff. I found a serious Hero Factory battle going on...
And each boy was busy helping build the new Lego sets...
Seriously the easiest birthday party ever!

That looks so fun! Love the candles in the doughnuts :) I loved birthday parties when I was little, this sounds like a great one.
