mary, mary, quite contrary....

We planted tomato plants right before we went to Utah.  I thought for sure they would be dead by the time we got home because it was so hot.  Nope!  We came home to four thriving plants!  The kids love to water them and help them grow.

We've even had a few cherry tomatoes.  They are so good!

We added some basil when we got home because I could not get over how yummy my mother-in-laws was.  We'll see if it thrives in the Ohio heat or wilts away.

Now if I could just get my little helper to quit picking the green ones!
