We are in the final stages of buying our new home so we decided it's time to get serious about finding renters/buyers for our current home. We have set up a blog with some pictures and information on our house. If you know anyone looking to rent a beautiful home in Cleveland... send them our way!
My belly is growing larger and larger every day. I get asked almost daily if I'm carrying more than one. It's lovely. Makes me feel all sorts of tiny and petite. I looked down and realized that in a few months my belly will be touching the steering wheel.
This has become my favorite picture and the backdrop on my phone. We were doing homework one day afterschool and it was unusually quiet. Peter is usually doing something to make someone laugh or is up in his room playing choo-choos as loud as he possibly can. I looked around and spotted him sitting quietly on the couch looking through Lincoln's library books. I called his name and snapped this picture. He is such a joy.Jeremy bought me this amazing pregnancy pillow back in February for Valentine's Day. I haven't needed it until recently. I decided to get some fun fabric and make a pillowcase for it before I used it. I don't think that pillowcase is coming off until the end of the pregnancy because it was so hard to get on! This pillow is heavenly! I haven't slept so well in years! Jeremy is a trooper and puts up with having another 'person' in our bed for the next few months.
I have been staying on top of my laundry for the first time all pregnancy. I think it has to do with feeling loads better and actually having a little bit of energy. This little girl decided that she needed to sit on my lap while I was folding the towels. That was a fun experience. Good thing she's so adorable!
After church one week she came into the kitchen like this and said, "Look mom! My arms got chopped off!" I wonder what she learned about in Primary that day....
I know Spring has arrived when our dogwood starts to bloom! I am going to miss having this tree just outside my window. I have enjoyed it so much these past 8 years.
I picked up this beautiful edition of Anne of Green Gables at the bookstore the other day. Its the Relief Society bookclub pick this month. What a charming little story! I love the movies but this is the first time I have read the book. It is so fun!
Tuesdays have become my grocery shopping day. Every other week we head to three stores in a matter of about 2 hours. We do most of the shopping at Aldi. I love that store. We go to Giant Eagle for the "specialty items" and Costco for the bulk items that we use a lot of. I love shopping with my little sidekick. He's such a good little shopper.
I'm not the only one that enjoys my pillow. This is a nightly scene in our bedroom when I head to bed. There are usually one or two kids snuggled up in our bed.
Second trimester has it's pros and cons for me. The pro is that I feel 100% better than I do first trimester. The con is the hormones start to come at me full force. I turn bipolar and lose my patience ridiculously fast. I get weepy on a daily basis for no reason. I take offense to things that wouldn't normally bother me. It's a roller coaster ride for sure. There have been many days when I need chocolate before dinner.
I love Cleveland in the Springtime! It always seems to turn green overnight. This picture was taken on the way to Jayne's pre-school. I can't get over the beauty that Heavenly Father created. It is so evident when the trees come alive all around me!
Our lawn is thriving with dandelions. Jayne hands me a bouquet like this at least two or three times a day.
Jeremy has had several late nights with work and his church calling lately. This is what a typical night looks like for me. A good movie and a project. Sense and Sensibility is one of the few movies I could watch over and over again and never get sick of. Emma Thompson is hands down my favorite actress in the world.
We had stake conference this weekend which meant tons of Daddy time on Sunday! It was such a treat!
This is my new favorite quilt in the house.... Muppet obsessed is an understatement.
