utah.

I had the chance to go to Utah all by myself last week.  It was the weirdest trip ever.  I felt so strange just worrying about myself and not having to take care of any little people.  I missed them terribly and was so ready to come home by the end of the trip.  It was nice to just worry about packing for one.  I didn't forget anything!
Flying alone was really strange.  It was a super long flight, super long layover and I was so bored!  Luckily I was greeted by my favorite Muppet friend when I landed in Denver for the layover.  That made things a little better.
Jeremy insisted that I get a rental car while I was in town so I could come and go as I pleased.  And it's just super fun to drive a rental car.  Especially when you get to drive one of these!  Cutest little circus car I ever did see.
Graham caught a nasty viral infection when I was away which broke my heart.  He spent the first day playing computer games at Daddy's office, and the next two at amazing friends houses.  It was so nice to know that he was being taken care of.  I was several pictures of the kids which made it a little easier to be away from them.
My mom has a quilting machine in her basement.  She taught me some of the ins and outs of quilting while I was there.  We were able to quilt two of mine while I was there.  This one is for the new baby.  He's going to have a vintage alphabet themed room.  I'm so excited.
We had lunch at Zupa's with my dad one day.  I love that place.
I talked two of my little sisters into going to a Zumba class with me while we were there.  This was before we got all hot and sweaty.  I love Zumba so much!
My good friend from High School was the instructor.  She was amazing!  It was so fun to surprise her and come to her class.  She has mad skillz.  I wish I could go to every class.  It was such a fun workout.
I was able to stop in and visit with my favorite baby Jack and get some of our baby clothes back.
I had brunch with an old friend from Ohio that moved to Utah about a year ago.  We are due about 2 weeks apart.  Our babies should get married someday.
She is one of those friends that you can not see for a year and then pick up right where you left off.  I wish I could have spent a full day with her.  She is incredible.  I miss her terribly.
My little sister pampered me with a haircut and a mini-manicure.  It was so nice of her seeing as she was in the middle of packing her house for a move up the street.
I had the best time with this girl.  We are going to have so much fun when she moves in with me in the fall.  She said she put on the beanie hat and tennis shoes so she didn't look like she was going to church!  She is a hoot.
I was able to go and see the progress on the Provo Tabernacle/Temple.  It's amazing that all of that is standing up on stilts.
I was able to have brunch with my in-laws.  I have been so blessed in the in-law department.  I love them all so much.  Jessica and I are pregnant together this time around.  Sure wish we lived closer!  She is due any day.  I can't wait to see her tiny little girl!
On the airport I stopped in to see my favorite Jonas Boy at school.  He is the sweetest little boy you will ever meet.  I think I got about 10 hugs in a matter of about 5 minutes.  He even had a surprise for me... he brought me Statler and Waldorf Muppet pins back from his trip to Disneyland last month.  Such a good kid.
The flight home was much better than the flight there.  I had a quilt to bind and almost finished Anne of Green Gables for our RS bookclub next week.  It was fun to be greeted by painted guitars all over the airport.  Cleveland really does ROCK!
More highlights from the trip to come in the next few posts.

Wow, you really had a great time but there is nothing like getting back to your family! Jonas sure looks like his daddy. Super cute boy! It seems everywhere I look there are babies being born and mamas expecting. I think we've had 6 new babies born in our ward in the last month or so. Crazy!

You look so darling! It'll be fun to see Jessica's new little one!
